Bingara murder: Scott Graham Marle accused of concealing Darren Willis' 2010 murder in Bingara as charge confirmed in Moree court

Detectives allege Scott Graham Marle knew what happened to Darryn Royce Willis in December 2010, but has kept it a secret since.

Marle was excused from appearing in Moree Local Court this week, but the DPP has certified the charge against him.

He is yet to enter a plea to the allegation of concealing a serious indictable offence of another person, namely murder.

The Crown and defence will now meet to discuss the issues in the case at a conference before the case returns to court next month.

In court, magistrate Holly Kemp continued Marle's bail until his next court date.

The Leader revealed Marle was arrested by Strike Force Barca after he presented to detectives on October 1, last year.

Marle is the third charged in connection to the murder of Mr Willis, whose remains have never been found.

He was arrested one year on after co-accused Robert James Stonestreet and Bruce Anthony Coss were charged.

Stonestreet is accused of concealing the murder, while Coss is accused of killing Mr Willis after a night out at the Imperial Hotel in Bingara on December 10, 2010.

Detectives allege Coss struck Mr Willis near his Bingara home, and killed him. He's then alleged to have dumped Mr Willis' body at an unknown location. His remains still have not been found.

Strike Force Barca was set-up by New England detectives to investigate Mr Willis' murder.

If found guilty of concealing a serious indictable offence of another, namely murder, Stonestreet and Marle face a maximum of five years' imprisonment.
