A contentious proposal to publicise the council's meetings with developers on the agenda tonight is expected to raise some discussion among the councillors.
The city's trademark as Australia's country music capital could be up for grabs if the council does not secure it's intellectual property, logos and everything else Tamworth Country Music Festival.
A number of organisation and sports events have their fingers crossed that the council will waive hire fees to help them out tonight.
And, there looks to be some interesting developments out at the airport to be discussed in closed council.
