Shane Wallace Sutherland will face sentencing in Tamworth Local Court at the end of the month after pleading guilty to five charges.
The 53-year-old appeared in Tamworth Local Court after his arrest in Moree in February.
He was intercepted at about 6.45pm on February 5 by police working as part of Operation Trance - a highway patrol blitz in Moree.

Police said he gave a false name to officers before checks revealed he was in breach of his bail conditions, and never had a licence.
He was charged and spent the night in custody before he was conditionally released in weekend bail court. He's been on bail since.
In court, he admitted to driving while never being licensed - prior offence; as well as a driver state a false name.
Sutherland also pleaded guilty to separate charges of driving with an illicit drug in his blood; being a never licensed driver on the road; and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Magistrate Julie Soars continued bail ahead of sentencing at the end of the month.
