It's reported the 32-year-old rider came off the road on Sunday afternoon, veering off into the drain and was seriously hurt as a result.
Just after 3pm, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter got the call to join NSW Ambulance paramedics at the crash site on Mount Sugarloaf.

They treated the man for chest and shoulder injuries.
He was stabilised by the Helicopter's Critical Care team on the ground before being flown directly to the Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.
