Various road works are set to commence on Oxley Highway at Long Flat, New England Highway at Kootingal and Thunderbolt's Way at Bundarra on Monday.

On the Oxley Highway, from Henry Street to the western extent of the 50km/h zone, one lane will be closed with alternating traffic flow arrangements in place to carry out road rehabilitation.
In Kootingal, Laurel, Pine, Oak and Privet street intersections will be closed until the end of May.
Wilson and Gill street intersections will be permanently closed and a short sealed service road will be built in one week, weather permitting, to connect these roads.

The Lone Pine Bridge on Bendemeer Street, over the Gwydir River at Bundarra, will be closed for brief periods for load testing, but will stop during school bus times.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
