For the first time, the On Air sign for the statewide broadcast flickered to life in Tamworth on Monday, in the studio Ms Moulder has called home for years.
"I've always tried to be someone people can feel comfortable sharing their experience and stories with," she said.
"We are privileged to be the only company some people have access to in a relatable and easy to understand way, I want to be the type of person people feel they can sit in a car for five hours or at a dinner party with.

"The biggest challenge will be to cover such a large area, NSW is a big state with varied communities and so many stories happening, with the tyranny of distance we have to constantly make sure we stay in touch."
The mother-of-two has spent eight years on the ABC New England North West breakfast shift and five years as the chief of staff.
At 12, she had her first taste of radio when her uncle started a community radio station in Warwick, QLD.
After that she honed her craft at university in Lismore and went on to work for the ABC.
The new role will open up two new job opportunities in radio in Tamworth, Ms Moulder said.
"I've had the opportunity to be a presenter and manager and a position like this doesn't come up very often," she said.
"These are tightly held positions, so to be able to make those connections and tell the stories of regional NSW is the pinnacle of what we do and why I live here.

"My real focus will be bringing a realistic representation of what it's like to live in regional NSW, it's easy for city folk to think they know what it's like to live here.
"I want to be able to represent as many regional experiences as we can in a really real and relatable way."
The statewide Drive program will broadcast from the Tamworth ABC radio studio, every afternoon from 3pm to 6pm.
