After eight years, the Sundarjee family owners have put the property back on the market.
The agent selling the property is the same person who sold it to them in the first place. He said with his "first-hand market knowledge" of Tamworth, now was the perfect time.
That's despite the pandemic's devastating impact on the tourism industry.
He's expecting it'll go for roughly $12 million, with the new owner's not restricted to keeping it branded as Ibis Styles.
CBRE's Wayne Bunz said he'd convinced the family this was the right time to sell again, and alongside his colleague Hayley Manvell, the pair are now running an Expression of Interest campaign.
As former general manager of Tamworth's Powerhouse Hotel, Mr Bunz "knows the strength of the Tamworth market".
Ms Manvell also has roots in Tamworth, born and bred here, but she's now based in Brisbane and has worked with Mr Bunz for five years.
"I sold it to them almost eight years ago, and we kept in constant touch with them, so we understand how strong regional locations are going," Mr Bunz claimed.

He postured the hotel had been very busy since COVID, substantially trading upwards especially in the last month "it has been a very successful hotel."
"We will get a lot of interest, a lot of capital looking to move into regional locations," he explained.
"It's because a lot of people are travelling interstate. Exploring their own territory more, so there's been a lot of flow through from Tamworth. It's a traditionally good way through point from Sydney to Brisbane."
