FIREFIGHTERS were interrupted in the midst of regular training when a two-car crash occurred right outside the station doors on Monday night.

Crews quickly ran to the scene to help both drivers involved in the collision at the intersection of Church and Bourke streets near the Glen Innes Fire Station.
One of the drivers needed first-aid treatment from firefighters until New England Police District officers and NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived on the scene.

The driver was taken to Glen Innes District Hospital, their condition is unknown.
Police took the driver of the second vehicle back to the station for further questioning.
