It's been in the works for almost 10 years, and now things are becoming tangible for the Bundarra community's multipurpose courts.

After months in the designing process, three different options to revamp the old tennis courts are now available on Uralla Shire Council's website.
Melissa Lowell, Bundarra General Store owner, put the application in to council, and can't believe how close it now is.
"It's real and tangible now," she said.
The tennis courts had been left sitting, abandoned and unloved, but because the courts were in the ownership of the Church of England, the community's hope of revamping the courts into a real gathering place were left unfulfilled.
"We weren't able to go for the grants that were available," Ms Lowell explained.
But then a step was taken to change all that.
Uralla council purchased the courts, which lead the way for a successful funding application from the state government.
Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall announced $300,000 for the dusty courts in August last year. With the application period closing January 21, the community is asked to choose one of the three options
"I've had a look at them," John Leyton said, a member of Bundarra's town committee.
"They all look pretty good to me, we'd be lucky to have any of them," he laughed.

The courts will have a place for table tennis, parkour, hand ball courts, a barbeque shelter, bench seating and outdoor study space, with re-surfaced courts for tennis, basketball, netball and futsal.
Funding from the state government's Drought Support Program has made this a reality, with Mr Marshall proud the courts on Souter Street would be restored as the active heart of the village.
