A 28-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested by Tamworth police on drug supply allegations, just hours after the same special strike force put another man behind bars.

An investigation into the supply of illegal drugs - code-named Strike Force Catkin - led officers to a home on Dibar Drive in Hillvue about 2pm on Thursday, where they arrested the 28-year-old man.
It's the police case the man was involved in the supply of cannabis.

He was taken to Tamworth police station, where he was charged with supplying cannabis.
The 28-year-old was granted conditional police bail. He will front Tamworth Local Court next month.
Strike Force Catkin was launched in April last year, to target suspects accused of supplying illegal drugs in the Tamworth and Werris Creek areas.
Officers from the secret squad arrested a 31-year-old man at a home in Henry Street, Werris Creek about 9am on Thursday, just hours before they moved on the Tamworth target.
He's also accused of kidnapping by detaining a person in company with intent to obtain an advantage.
The 31-year-old man was denied bail by police on Thursday and is staring down the barrel of a lengthy jail sentence, if he's found guilty.
Officers from the same special team raided a home in Tamworth in late-June last year, after they homed in on a Robert Street address.
At the time, the strike force seized cannabis, unauthorised prescription medication, cash, mobile phones and "drug paraphernalia" from inside the home.
