This time it was Joseph Hancock, his 52, which included a 67-run partnership with Ben Livingstone (32) for the third wicket providing the foundation as they posted 8-166 from what was a reduced 47 overs after play was delayed over an hour.

The carnivals wrap up on Wednesday with both Central North sides due to face Newcastle.
