Police raided the Boston Street home in Moree about lunchtime on Tuesday as part of a fortnight-long investigation after two men were spotted with dogs on a quad bike acting suspiciously.
During the search warrant, New England rural crime officers were backed by uniformed police and seized a blue quad bike, along with four hunting collars, a stash of hunting knives and bolt cutters.
A 26-year-old man was questioned at the home and police said he will be served a notice to front court to answer allegations of hunting a game animal on public land without a licence; using an unregistered vehicle on the road; carrying an unrestrained dog on the back of a vehicle; and driving while disqualified.

Investigators said Moree officers spotted two people riding a blue quad bike with hunting dogs along Boston Street on November 21.
After speaking to a witness, officers launched an investigation, and uncovered evidence of illegal hunting on a stock route west of Moree.
Detective Sergeant Bennett Nolan leads the rural crime prevention team across the North West.
He said the seizure and charges should serve as a warning for hunters who do the wrong thing.
"Both local police and the rural crime prevention team continue to actively target illegal hunting across the state," he said.
"If you are caught illegally hunting, you can expect to not only face criminal charges but also to forfeit your vehicles and equipment."
