Easts won the toss and chose to bat, a decision they were left ruing when Cody Graham was caught for a duck off Sreejan Tarafder's bowling.
Jared Veall claimed his first scalp with Dean Waters caught on three.
Veall then went on to claim Darby Chalmers and Justin Hickey for two each.

Tarafder then removed Lochie Elks while John Elliot claimed Easts' only batsman to reach double figures, skipper Clarrie Moran with 18.
Elliot then snared the wicket of Alex Frost, then Sam Uphill and Dale Northam.
Mitch Northam was the final wicket to fall with birthday boy Nick Levy bowling him, Maurice Kelly the final batsman at the crease with eight not out as Easts were all out for 60.
Final figures for the Servies bowlers were: Tarafder 2-11 from seven overs, Veall 3-15 off five, Levy 1-16 from seven and Elliot 4-17 off five.
Easts set about defending their meagre total and signs were positive early with Lochie Elks removing Servies opener Tarafder for a duck.
Elks then dismissed Nathan Withnell for one and Bill Mohammed for 14, then Dhruv Patel in quick succession to have Servies in trouble at 4-16.
Skipper Elliot was joined at the crease by Benji Marshall who stepped up to put on 28 runs before he was caught off Mitch Northam's bowling.
Elliot and Levy remained at the crease to deliver the five wicket win.
