Some days she'd feel a constant throbbing, and on others she felt like she was being stabbed.
Miss Clissold was also tired much of the time. Some days she couldn't get out of bed.
These symptoms continued to get worse, and in 2017, at the age of 22, she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia.

But while the diagnosis may have answered some questions for Miss Clissold, it didn't bring with it any relief from her pain.
While Miss Clissold was prescribed a couple different types of medication, but nothing seemed to work.
She decided to take matters into her own hands and after months of research, she found some therapies that helped ease the pain.
"I started off with floating, that's what gave me a little bit of hope I could actually get some relief from the pain," Miss Clissold said.
Miss Clissold then tried cryotherapy and compression therapy. They all helped tame the fibromyalgia.
However, the now 25-year-old had to travel to Sydney or Newcastle for the therapies.
There was a lot of travel involved which saw Miss Clissold do something to rectify that.
"After about a year of travelling, I thought 'there's nothing around, I might as well bring it [to Tamworth myself]' because there's a lot of people like me that are struggling," she said.
Miss Clissold opened the Rest and Recovery Studio in August last year.
The studio, which offers float, cryo, compression and salt therapies, is run by Miss Clissold with the help of her mum, Nina.
The therapies are used for a range of reasons from pain relief to sport recovery and relaxation.
It not only means Miss Clissold can easily access all the therapies she needs to combat her fibromyalgia but she's also able to help others.
"It's been amazing, I love it. You get to see people, who you can see on their face when they walk in how hard it is, and then they walk out with a smile on their face, it's awesome to see," she said.
