Jax Tyres is calling on drivers to bring in their used tyres to ensure they don't end up in landfill and can be reused.
The Australian-owned company has recycled over 3.3 million tyres since partnering with Tyre Stewardship Australia and has recycled more than 710,000 tyres across the country so far this year.

Jax Tamworth store manager Jason Hicks said people were becoming more conscious of recycling their tyres, but more education was needed.
"To be honest, I don't think many people have a good understanding of what happens to their tyres once they are finished with them," Mr Hicks said.
"A lot of people think they just go in landfill and that's where they stay, but there are a lot more options now.
"For example, all of our tyres get picked up by a company called Tyre Cycle and they get broken down into their different elements.
"Things like the nylon and steel get recycled, while the rubber tends to go into road base to fix roads, so there is certainly a lot more that can be done if a tyre is recycled."
To help locals make an eco-friendly choice with their tyres, Jax is offering a free vehicle inspection for anyone who brings their tyres in to be recycled.
"We're hoping this might give people a bit of a nudge to do the right thing with their tyres," Mr Hicks said.
"Given how the environment is going these days, it is very important to get these kinds of messages out there.
"Not many people know about the options, so hopefully this lets people know that there are options."
