Their preparation is shorter than normal but it's not going to stop a team of climbers from representing Tamworth at the 2020 NSW/ACT State Boulder Titles.

The Tamworth representatives, who train out of Freestyle Bouldering Gym, will compete at the titles after just a month of dedicated training for the event.
Normally, the Tamworth coaches would set up a "complicated, elaborate training program" which the climbers would then work on for three or four months.

However, the 2020 titles were only announced a month ago, giving teams a shorter period to prepare.
Freestyle Bouldering Gym's Chris Eather said his team would go in with "no expectations".
"There's a few guys in the mix - up there in the elite few," Eather said.
"It [the lead-up] has been so disrupted but everyone is in the same boat. It is what it is. We'll just go there, enjoy it and it lays a bit of a foundation for next year."
The state titles run from November 12-15 at the Sydney Indoor Climbing Gym.
