A Moree man is set to face Tamworth Local Court today after he lead police on two high-speed car chases in one night.

The 46-year-old man, known to police as having no driver's license, was seen behind the wheel of his car in Bellata on Saturday around 7pm.
When the man saw the Oxley Highway Patrol Officers turn around, around 50kms outside of Moree on the Newell Highway, its alleged he quickly accelerated away.
Police then started the chase, during which they clocked him driving a top speed of 160 kilometres an hour in a 60 kilometre zone through Bellata.
Police cut the pursuit a short time later, citing safety concerns.
But just 20 minutes later, he was seen by New England Highway Patrol officers in Moree, who commenced their own pursuit.

The vehicle then stopped on Blueberry Road.
The man was arrested and taken to Moree Police Station where he was charged with seven offences.
These were two counts of drive dangerously and not stopping in a police pursuit, two counts of exceeding the speed limit by more than 45 kilometres an hour, two counts of driving while license suspended and one count of possessing a prohibited drug.
He was refused bail and will appear in Tamworth Local Court today.
