The 12-year-old Peel High School student managed to notch up a whopping $4,267 throughout October for charity Canteen.
It was an easy decision for young Scott to turn his locks a funky new shade of blue, and start selling bandanas, while asking for donations at his school and down the street, to raise money.

"I just like helping to raise money and just helping in general," Scott said.
The inspirational high school student said he was blown away as the money kept rolling in during October.
He had set a goal of $500 for the month - a target he hit within the first week.

"I was so grateful that all of my school and lots of people I met could help raise that much money," Scott said.
"I was very surprised, I thought I was only going to make about $500 in the whole month."
Scott - with his pooch and 'mascot' Ruby by his side, and a couple of school mates - sold Canteen bandanas and collected donations in town during the school holidays.
When classes started again, he kept up the good work in the playground.
"I'd been going around and asking people if they would like to buy a bandana, and lots of people did ... and I also have been asking if people would like to donate money," Scott said.
He said bandanas with rainbow patterns proved popular, but the dog print was his personal favourite.
Scott said the support of his school and local businesses helped him smash his goal.
