A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after two trucks crashed in the early hours of Friday.

Emergency services are still at the scene on the Newell Highway, about 30km south of Boggabilla after the early-morning crash.
It's believed one truck overturned and another crashed as a result just before 1am near the Talga Lane intersection.
One of the drivers suffered a minor head injury and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

He was then taken by ambulance to Moree hospital in a stable condition.
It's understood one of the trucks was carrying fresh produce, and there was damage to the fuel tank on one of the wrecks with fire crews deployed to mop up a diesel spill.
Live Traffic said the salvage operation would taken several hours because three trailers need to be unloaded before the trucks can be salvaged.
A heavy vehicle tow truck has been deployed, along with council crews.
Live Traffic NSW said motorists should expect delays.
It's the third reported truck crash on the Newell Highway in the North West this week.
