The Oxley Proactive Crime Team moved in on 29-year-old Danny Ronald Price at a motel chain in the city about 7.20am on Thursday.
Police said Price was wanted in relation to allegations of methylamphetamine, or ice, supply, and for breach of bail.
"The male was arrested without incident, and during a subsequent search of the motel room, police located and seized scales, bags, drug paraphernalia used for distribution, along with a quantity of drugs," Oxley Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy told the Leader.

"This is a significant arrest and seizure because we know how damaging this drug can be, and police will continue to target anyone involved in the supply of it."
Price is facing two counts of supplying more than an indictable quantity of drugs; three counts of possessing prohibited drugs; and dealing with the proceeds of crime and was not required to enter pleas.
He was unrepresented when he appeared in Tamworth Local Court on Thursday for a bail application, but failed in his bid for release.
Magistrate Julie Soars revoked his bail for driving while disqualified, and ordered him into custody.
She also ordered police to start compiling their brief of evidence into the case which will return to court in December.
Price will remain behind bars until his next court date.
