Curlewis trainer Allan Syphers is plotting a city mission with his classy sprinter Murphey after the black dog added the $6000 Mikeloren Patisserie Tamworth Cup to his list of wins.

After clocking the fastest time in the heats, the three-year old was the favourite heading into Saturday's final and lived up to that, beating home the Melanie Mabbott-trained Smiley Sadie by one-and-a-half lengths.
"He's a pretty good dog," Syphers said.
"He's had 24 starts, won 12 of them and had seven minor placings, and won $31,000 in prize money."

Saturday was his second win in a major feature race in the last two months after taking out the Ladbrokes Super Series Final at Gunnedah back in August.
He also made the Regional Final of the Million Dollar Chase, but "didn't have any luck".
Syphers is excited for the ride to come believing Murphey has "still got the best of his career ahead of him".
His first Tamworth Cup triumph, he said it was "a good run".
"I think he was going a bit too quick for the corner but he shuffled around and when he got going he just had too much leg," he said.
He will now look to take Murphey down to Sydney, probably for a fifth grade race at Wentworth Park in a couple of weeks or so. He will also look at some of the Cup meetings around.
The Cup was one of three finals run at Saturday's meeting.
The Melanie Felton-Cleghorn-trained Power Grip won the Peel Valley Traffic Control/Curly Craig Memorial Maiden Final, while Seldom Quits (Robert Green) was victorious in the John Jordan Memorial/Sandbyme Final.
