The best team all year, they were simply brilliant at Scully Park on Saturday thrashing Glen Innes 24-5 and 26-5 to make in a winning debut in the New England competition.
Beaten grand finalists last year (in the Central North competition) co-coach Anthony Barbara couldn't have been happier with the football his side produced, labelling it collectively the best performance he's seen from them this season.

"They were clinical from the get-go and they really put their stamp on the game," he said.
"Just that real urgency to want to win.
"I think they just really wanted it today and it really showed, and the scorleline 50-10 in 28 minutes of football it's quite a feat."
He said it was a credit to all the hard work they have put in throughout the year.
Skipper Claudia Nielsen also touched on that hard work and said it was an "awesome feeling for it to come off like that".
The top pointscorer for the competition she crossed twice in the second game.
Phoebe McLoughlin also bagged a double in that game to follow up a first game double, and was superb in both games.
Rosie Ferguson set the tone when she stepped around two Glen Innes defenders to score in just the second minute of the first game. Jacinta Cooper a couple of minutes later streaked away after a nice wrap around play and from there it was pretty much one-way traffic.
"We're an attacking team and we like to go hard at the line and test people outwide," Nielsen said.
"There's just such a talented bunch of girls in the team and they put the points on today, and [I'm] just so proud of them".
