The Elkettes dominated the Armidale Blues from the get-go in the opening game to earn the spot.
Amelia Tunamena, Bella Reardon and then Lauren Clarke posted quick five-pointers to go 15-nil up.
They showed plenty of skill to spread the ball along the backline for Lenikki Craigie to go over for the Elkettes to lead 22-nil at the break.

A yellow card to Blues' playmaker Amy Barraclough saw the Glen girls capitalise with Clarke in for her second.
The Armidale side hit back immediately after the kickoff through a runaway Taneika Landsborough but it was too late as the Glen side finished 34-7 winners.
The second game saw the Blues come out firing but it was the Elkettes who posted first points with Craigie over in the opening minute.
The Blues hit back when Debbie Moran carted defenders over the tryline.
Two yellow cards were given to Glen players heading into half-time and they went into the break one try apiece.
In the second stanza, Sarah Woolfe skipped over the line and was involved in the next try when Clarke found the speedster to make a break out wide.
The Glen girls then spread the ball inside for Amy Byrne to link up with sister Sarah.
The combined scores saw Glen race away 53-14 winners.
Sarah Byrne was rapt after the matches.
"It is unreal, it is a great feeling to be a throw together team and get to the GF," she said.
"Credit to the girls, putting in 110 per cent, especially today, had a couple of sin bins.
"We knew in the second game they would come out firing, they had nothing to lose, a bit like us last week."
The Elkettes will face minor premiers, the Pirates next week.
Byrne is happy to wear the underdogs tag.
"If we turn up and play like we did in that first game today and if we come in hungry for it, really just get up in their faces, we know they like to spread it wide, I think we are a good shot," Byrne said.
"I hope everyone is not discrediting us, it will be very, very tough."
