"We have a wide range of players from across Group 4," Psarakis said of the proposed four-team competition (15 players in a squad) for the Carey's Freight Lines, Shay Brennan Construction, JT Fossey and Marius Street Family Dental franchises.
"We are still taking player nominations too but we have a cut-off point on Monday night (6pm)."
He added: "So if there are still players out there thinking about playing, they can still nominate (by emailing Group 4 secretary Catherine Weeks on group4secretary@gmail.com).
"Everything else is locked in and we even have a few new sponsors as well."
He is expecting late nominations for the WEG 9s as momentum grows ahead of the staging of the first round at Scully Park on October 3.
There has been a change to the draw, with the conclusion of the competition moved from October 24 to October 31 because soccer grand finals will be held at Scully Park on the former date.
Players who have nominated for the 9s include Chris Vidler, Josh Trindall, Abel Carney, Aaron Donnelly, Dylan Lake, Zach Hatch, Mitch Sheridan, James Cooper and Jake McManus.
Gunnedah and North Tamworth are the best represented clubs so far in terms of player nominations.
