Beacon's last two starts have been over 1200m in Highway races at Randwick while Moree Dreaming is coming off a win over distance.
"He [Beacon] will go round in the Cup and he will run a nice race 1400m will stretch him out but he will go good," Sinclair said.
"Moree Dreaming is the opposite, he has coming back from 2100m to 1400m because there hasn't been a suitable race for us to go to so we are just going to give him a run around so we can run him in Armidale in two weeks' time.
"They will both run nice races."
Due to border closures, this year's Moree Cup is a bit "light on" but there's still plenty of quality horses from the New England North West region nominated.
Back for another crack will be Free Billy, now training under Inverell's Shane Edmunds, Tamworth-based Sue Grills' Hammoon Ballad who won the Walcha Cup in February, and the in-form Cabriere.
Sinclair also has Master Cramsie and Crystal Billy nominated for the 1300m Benchmark 58, Head On put forward in the 950m Class 3, Queen's Song and Sognare hopeful for starts in the 1300m Class 1 as well as newcomers Big Lenny and Doin' Shots entered in the two Maidens.
Before the racing action gets underway, the Moree Race Club will host their Westpac Rescue Chopper charity dinner on Saturday night with special guest Jo McKinnon as well as the Melbourne Cup visiting.
Tickets are $130 and available on trybooking.com. On race day, gates open for the general public at 12pm with a $10 entry fee. There is also a Chopper Club Marquee which costs $65 and includes gate entry, welcome drinks and nibbles.
