The under-14s made it three-in-a-row and two-from-two against the Saints with a 7.11 (53) to 3.2 (20) victory, the team showing good structure and setting up well behind the ball.
In a handful of games new recruit Mason Heywood is rapidly developing a pivotal role in the side and was one of the Roosters best.

Alex Morgan-Giles produced one of his best games of the season while brothers Ned and Harry Hagon also played well, winning a lot of ball along with Josh Vallender.
It was a different game in the under-17s with the Saints showing they were't going to willingly relinquish their position at the top of the ladder to the second-placed Roosters and playing a strong, well-structured game of footy.
Backing up from the under-14s, Vallender applied good pressure on Inverell's scoring opportunities. Aaron Humbert, Seth Morony, Latrell Allan and Jake Cosgrove worked hard, and when given the opportunity Jack Dadd marked the ball well, but they struggled to counter Inverell's constant pressure and ability to move the ball as the home side ran out convincing 16.19 (115) to 2.2 (14) winners.
The Roosters will have the chance to make amends this weekend when they host the Saints.
The under-14s also face the Saints.
