HE has graced countless rugby league fields across the world, but Andrew Johns believes Tamworth's Scully Park is the best he's played on.

The NRL immortal told the Knights Podcast the players taking the field in Saturday's New Zealand Warriors, Newcaslte Knights clash were lucky to be battling it out on such a great surface.
"It will be a sensational game up there, the people up there love their footy," Johns said on the Knights Podcast.
"They will be playing at Scully Park, one of my favourite places to play.
"We played a few games there in the pre-season and it was the best surface I've played on anywhere in the world."

Wests League Club chief executive officer Rod Laing said the quality of the surface was down to the hard work of the ground staff.
"Honestly, that is really high praise and it all comes down to our head groundskeeper Trent Madams and his team," Laing said.
"Trent has looking after the ground down to a fine art.
"Much like they get the roses to bloom at Flemington for Melbourne Cup Day, Trent has the same principles for the surface. If you think it looks good now, just wait until Saturday."
Laing said he was confident the surface was one of the best in regional NSW.
"After almost every major event we have had here, the players have said how much they enjoyed it and for that reason alone we know our surface is among the best," he said.
"There's so much that goes into it from being prepared for frost, rain or sun, these guys are ready for all of it and are prepared down to the smallest detail."
Also eagerly anticipating Saturday's clash is Knights prop David Klemmer, who will celebrate his 150th NRL game against the Warriors.
"The pre-season camp we had there earlier in the year was tough and we met a lot of tough people up there who were going through a hard time, for us to take a footy game out there is going to be pretty special," Klemmer said.
"We're excited to go back there and play in front of the Tamworth locals because they looked after us when we were out there and they've got a great footy park out there too, so it should be good."
The Round 16 clash will only be open to 2340 residents and will be broadcast on Fox Sports from 3pm on Saturday.
