Fly Corporate has suspended flights into Tamworth, Orange, Dubbo and the rest of regional NSW until it can receive clarification around transporting essential workers into NSW after new laws around all flights being forced into Sydney come into effect.

The carrier was due to have a flight land in Tamworth and Orange on Friday, but Fly Corporate airline services manager Jeff Boyd said the company had pulled services until it could confirm essential workers were still allowed to fly direct to regional areas.
"We're very frustrated," Mr Boyd said.
"We understand it's not legal to fly directly into Orange or other regional centres for returning residents, we want clarification around essential workers who have permits.

"If it's a doctor who's flying up from Melbourne or a specialist worker who has to fly in to fix something at the mine."
Mr Boyd said Fly Corporate was not flying returning residents who were being told to quarantine.
He said he'd sought clarification from government, but guidelines published online and what was being said by public figures didn't match up.
"We're not mavericks, we've cancelled flights until we've got that clarification," he said.
He said there were no confusions around travel to and from Queensland, which is due to shut from residents of NSW from 1am Saturday.
"It's basically what they had the last time the border shut, we'll still be operating flights. We're only carrying people who are exempt," he said.
