Oxley Police District Superintendent Kylie Endemi has warned the public that patience for rule-breakers has run thin.
"I think we've had a lot of warning across the course of this pandemic, people can no longer say they aren't aware of what those restrictions are and what their personal obligations are," she said.
"Let's face it, it's not just a police responsibility at the moment, it is in terms of enforcement but people need to take responsibility for themselves individually at a time like this.
"When they don't, that's when we'll be there and we will issue enforcement, there's no doubt about it."
