Commencing as a $1.20 favourite, the little grey mare had some weight on her shoulders - as she had only won one race prior in her career.

From the one barrier, Jaspers Ayr went straight to the lead with top Queensland reinsman Nathan Dawson handling the reins for Richard Williams as the trainer.
Jaspers Ayr held on for a short half-head win over Manoflisa - with a mile rate of 2min 00.6sec for 1780 metres, to record her second career win from 45 race starts.
The Williams stables have travelled north as part of the Queensland racing carnival, with stablemate Flightnfight commencing as $2.90 race favourite later in the night to finish third.
Both Flightnfight and Jaspers Ayr will be competing at Redcliffe again this Sunday night, with Williams taking the reins.
Galvarino also travelled north with trainer Ashlea McKinnon, who accredited himself well with two starts at Albion Park. And even though he finishing unplaced, he was in two races with mile rates of 1.55.3 and 1.57.1
Greg Coney, along with his step-daughter and resident stable driver Madi Young, picked up another Western Districts win at Parkes last Sunday - with the win of Goodtime Hero, which came on the back of the win of Karaoke Rock at Dubbo the week prior.
Sitting in behind race leader Camanchi Warrior (Nathan Turnbull) in the 2040m race, Young found a split for Goodtime Hero on the final turn - coming out and racing three wide to the finish line, to achieve a 1.5m win over Shadow Eclipse (Mitch Turnbull).
Goodtime Hero will have a start at the Newcastle meeting on Friday night and will come up against another Tamworth pacer in Money Matters, from the Scotty Jon Welsh stables.
Welsh will also have another of his stable runners, What A Flight, engaged in race six. What A Flight will come up against Manilla trainer Chris Sutherland and his pacer Jax Tellar.
Narrabri owned pacer Kid Montana is starting to make his name at Albion Park under the guidance of Lola Weidemann and has drawn barrier 13 for the $25,000 Lucky Creed Open (Listed) Pace at that track on Saturday night.
In no ways disgraced with his fifth placing to Cruz (mile (MR 1.53.2 for 2138m) last week at Albion Park, the only chance that Kid Montana had in the race was the use of the sprint lane after racing four back on the inside running line.
