Older brother Ryan will be right by his side as the club navigates the 2020 Tamworth Baseball season.
The side continues to rebuild after "a fair few seniors players" have retired over the past couple of years.
While experience has been lost, the Handsakers have plenty of it themselves, both having played the game for over 25 years.
The pair live and breathe baseball and if they aren't playing or training, they're talking about it.

"We kind of coach the side together. We pick each other's brain. During the week we can be on the phone for hours a day talking baseball or other stuff," Nathan said
"When it comes to the weekend, that's when we strategise and figure out who plays where and who has what role."
The Warriors team in 2020 is slightly different to the one of last season.
Andy Bello has moved to Western Australia while Warriors have welcomed Jake Forsythe back into the fold, Handsaker said as his team heads into its round two clash with the Outlaws following a round one win.
"It was a great start to year for us. We've lost couple of players one moved to WA but also had one veteran come back as well," Handsaker said.
"They're very different types of players. Andy was the encourager of the side. Lots of talk and always got us motivated to keep going where Jake brings the experience with him. He played college ball in the states and it's good to have him back in the side."
Handsaker said the pandemic affected the Warriors' recruitment drive for 2020 and with that in mind, he's sent a simple message to his players for this season.
"I've just said go out and have fun for the year," Handsaker said.
"We'll take it seriously but we're not playing for sheep stations. We'll just go out and have some fun."
