Tamworth's first I Spy A Zombie Search, hosted by Escape Rooms Tamworth, is set for this weekend and next week.
Hunters are encouraged to pack their survival kits and get out to find them before they take over.
Three captured zombies will be in Tamworth accompanied by experts. Those who want to catch a glimpse of the dangerous and deadly creatures will need to use problem solving skills to decipher their whereabouts, using clues provided by Escape Rooms Tamworth owner Jody Stevens.
"We were going to do a grand opening, but because of COVID-19 we had to think outside the box," she said. "So throwing live zombies around town seemed like the best option, and it's fun."
The search is free to take part in and clues will be handed out by 92.9FM and Escape Rooms Tamworth on Saturday and next Thursday.
Hunters will need to find them and take photos of them for a chance to win prizes, including five tickets to Escape Rooms Tamworth or two cakes from Scream Ice Creamery.
