A Quirindi local, who had her work days cut to two days per week due to the impacts of COVID-19, has won $500 in vouchers at a Quirindi business.

Jill Anderson, who works in the local health industry, was thrilled to win the vouchers from the Tamarang Servicecentre.
She said the vouchers, which can be used at the service centre, came at the right time to assist her and her family.

"It's a bit overwhelming, and I am so very grateful," she said.
"I always support Tamarang Servicecentre as they always support our clubs and groups and employ locals."
Site manager Terry Beresford said there were thousands of entries in the draw.
"Our customers were able to enter by spending over $30 on our Shell fuels or Shell oils in one transaction," he said.
"We are just so delighted Jill has won the prize, it's great to see it go to a local who does so much to assist others in our community."
