Drainage and parking lane improvement works valued at $190,000 are being carried out in Dewhurst Street between Fitzroy and Russell Streets.
And on Callaghans Lane, bitumen sealing is being undertaken on a 500-metre section at the northern end of the road.
The work on Callaghans Lane will cost $335,000.

Funding for both projects was obtained through the Federal Government's Financial Assistance Grant program.
A contractor is delivering the projects on behalf of council with, weather permitting, work expected to be finished by the end of the financial year.
