The 13-year-old boy fell from a motocross bike on Sunday evening at a property north west of Bingara.
He sustained multiple leg fractures in the incident.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to assist and the boy was transported to Tamworth hospital in a stable condition.

A 79-year-old man, who was in a stable condition, was transported from Armidale hospital to Tamworth hospital yesterday morning.
