Bands from across the region will battle it out for a musical crown as a local contest is revived amid the coronavirus pandemic.
After a six year hiatus, the North West Battle of the Bands is set to relaunch with a new online format in June.
It might seem strange timing to bring back the contest with gathering restrictions in place, but organiser Angela Pattison said it's quite the opposite.
"We wanted to do something for young people in our community who are stuck at home at the moment," she said.

"Giving local music a boost like this during the physical distancing restrictions means we will come out of this stronger than when we went in."
Aspiring musicians from the local government areas of Gunnedah, Narrabri, Moree, Walgett, Bourke, Coonamble and Brewarrina can enter before June 13 via Facebook.
And if you're not a performer, you can still get involved - as a judge and spectator.
The People's Choice Award is one of the categories, along with best cover and best original song.
The full show will hit the virtual stage on June 20 via the event's Facebook page and will feature artist interviews, feedback from the judges and the announcement of winners.
Country talent Sarah Leete won the last Battle of the Bands competition back in 2013, and will lead the judging panel.
Sober in the Country founder Shanna Whan is part of the team bringing the event back to life.
