AN ARMIDALE mother has been bailed on a long list of conditions, on allegations of offering a child to strangers to be sexually abused.

She was granted bail in Armidale Local Court on a raft of bail conditions as police compile the brief of evidence against her.
She has not been required to enter pleas to charges of using a carriage service to transmit child abuse material; and producing child abuse material for use through a carriage service.

As part of her bail conditions, the woman was ordered to live more than 11 hours from Armidale, near the border of Victoria.
She is banned from using or accessing the internet; or any social media sites or applications, including asking someone to do it on her behalf.
She's not allowed to own or use a phone that can access the internet, and must only possess one phone, with the number provided to police.
She's also not allowed to gain employment in anything to do with the care of children.
She must report to police three times a week; not obtain a passport; and not leave NSW, or go within 500m of any airport or international point of departure.
Magistrate Michael Holmes ordered the woman must not seek or actively remain in the company of anyone aged under 18 years; or attend any childcare facilities, playgrounds or schools.
The woman is prohibited from contacting anyone involved in the case; and will return to court later this month.
The 35-year-old woman spent less than a fortnight in custody after her arrest by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) in Armidale, after they raided her home.
The AFP were tipped off about the woman's alleged activities after allegations she was using an international encrypted messaging service to share child abuse material of a child known to her. She was also alleged to have been offering the child to strangers for sex abuse, the AFP claims.
Investigations by the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) homed in on the 35-year-old Armidale woman as the alleged user of the encrypted messaging service.
Police then raided the home, and during the search warrant, officers seized several items including an electronic device which they said would be forensically examined as part of ongoing investigations.
If found guilty of the offences, the woman faces a maximum of 15 years' imprisonment.
