A WOMAN stands accused of manslaughter, driving under the influence and drug supply offences after her charges for a fatal crash were upgraded in court.

Kyra Maynard remains in custody after the March 8 crash that claimed the life of a 20-year-old pregnant woman in Inverell.
Police allege Maynard was behind the wheel of the car on the night of the deadly crash that killed a woman and her unborn baby.
She was initially charged with eight offences, but a string of new offences were laid in Inverell Local Court on Thursday.

Maynard is now facing allegations of manslaughter; dangerous driving occasioning death while driving under the influence; taking part in the supply of more than an indictable quantity of drugs; two counts of possessing drugs; exceeding the speed limit by more than 30km; and burnout.
She's also accused of dangerous driving occasioning death by driving in a manner dangerous; negligent driving occasioning death; driver never licensed; using a vehicle that doesn't comply with standard tyres; using an unregistered vehicle; using an uninsured vehicle; using a vehicle without paying tax; and driving with an unrestrained passenger.
On Thursday, Maynard was not required to enter pleas to the charges with the case adjourned while investigators prepare the brief of evidence.
Magistrate Roger Prowse adjourned the case until July. Maynard made no new application for bail and it was formally refused.
Maynard was seriously injured in the late-night crash on Warialda Road. A 20-year-old pregnant passenger died en route to hospital.
Crash investigators from Tamworth allege Maynard - who lives in Tingha - was unlicensed and under the influence when she got behind the wheel of a Holden Commodore, with a female passenger, just before 10.30pm on March 8.
Police said the Commodore lost control on Warialda Road, and collided with a Mazda Bravo before it struck a powerpole.
Both the driver and the pregnant passenger were seriously injured. Emergency services tried desperately to save the 20-year-old woman, who was 32 weeks' pregnant.
Both women were then transported to Inverell airport to meet the Westpac Rescue Helicopter's critical care medical team, but the 20-year-old woman and her unborn baby died before she could be airlifted.
The 22-year-old driver was then flown to Tamworth hospital with head and shoulder injuries.
Police said the driver of the Mazda Bravo ute, a 19-year-old man, and his female passenger, escaped with minor injuries. He was taken to Inverell hospital for mandatory testing.
The Crash Investigation Unit has been examining the circumstances leading up to the crash, and combed the scene and the wrecks, before interviewing witnesses. They then charged Maynard on March 10, before the new charges on Thursday.
