Just waiting for one more tick of approval for the effluent disposal, a successful trial this week means it's now ready for action.
Gwydir Shire mayor John Coulton said he has already received word from the trucking industry that it will be "well-patronised."
"It is completely state of the art, and truly a magnificent facility," Cr Coulton said.
Shawn Turner supplied a couple of dirty B-Doubles for the trial run.
This allowed council to calibrate the onsite pumps and sample the effluent for testing.

This effluent will be analysed and the results sent to the Department for Planning, Industry and Environment for license concurrence as one of the very last steps in opening the facility up.
Cr Coulton said while the truck wash will hopefully be open soon, the same can't be said for the remainder of the project, which includes hold-ups relating to work on a particular stretch of land.
