From the moment Crystal Billy stormed to victory in the first race of the day at Moree on Saturday, it was almost like reading a book you know the ending to.

There was a sense of inevitability that Peter Sinclair would dominate on his home track.
And so he did, the veteran Moree trainer finishing with four winners for the second time in as many meetings at Moree.
At the meeting back in December, he won the first three races, and then the last.
On Saturday he took out the first four of the meeting before picking up second and third in the last two - Neville McCarthy's Fourth Protocol and Graham Watt's Tully Ho spoiling the party.
Fourth Protocol got home by about half a length over Mymill after the two fought it out to the line before Tully Ho produced a front running effort to beat Head On. Samphire Hoe was third, with Danigree taking third in the previous race.

Earlier Crystal Billy bounced back from a disappointing run at Armidale to notch his first win for Sinclair.
He had said heading into the meeting he expected the gelding to "run a nice race" and after having it much his own way in front for most of the journey, he held off a strong challenge from Stirling Osland's Nodeel.
On debut for Sinclair, Disco Mo then got home by a nose from a fast-finishing stablemate Ah Well, the latter flashing home on the outside from almost three lengths back with a couple of hundred metres to go.
It was even closer in the next with Sinclair's More Than Good and Rod Northam's Magic Moet unable to be split. Osland's Pair Of Heels, who Sinclair thought would be too good and started the $2.70 favourite was third, another two-and-a-half lengths back.
Ayeteem then made it four-in-a-row for Sinclair and jockey Brooke Stower when cruising to a four length win over favourite Radiant Choice (Osland). It was the gelding's second win in three starts with a third at Coonabarabran last month sandwiched inbetween.
Sinclair will now turn his attention to Monday's Quirindi meeting where he has Sir Belgium and Queen's Song engaged.
Sir Belgium will be having his first start while Queen's Song will be looking to improve on a last start fifth but is "in a hard race".
