They say she's kind, energetic, a hard-worker, eternally optimistic - just to name a few traits.
All those qualities are on show when Robyn goes in to work at St Nicholas Primary School - a place where a lot of her friendships have formed including one with Lisa McSweeney.
"She's just one of those people we all aspire to be like," Ms McSweeney, who worked with Robyn for over 20 years, said.
"She's as sharp as a tack and knows the school inside out. She's been an inspiration to so many staff members at St Nicholas and is a beautiful friend, too.
"She's not only a colleague, she's so much more. I lost my mum a few years back and she's been like a second mother to me. That's why I love her so much. She's always been there for me."
Robyn's worked at the school since 1980 and the amount of people she's helped and guided in that time - both staff and students - is too high to count.
So, with her 80th birthday falling on Friday, the staff just knew they had to do something special for the lady who's manned the office for over 40 years.

In this day and age a big bash wasn't allowed, meaning Robyn's children and grandchildren weren't able to travel to Tamworth to see her, so the crew at St Nicholas organised a driveby instead.
Robyn was told just a couple things were being dropped off for her birthday but instead Robyn, and husband of almost 60 years Brian, were greeted by a procession of decorated cars which drove past the house passing on their birthday wishes.
It was a fitting celebration for the girl from Ingelba who is dearly loved by so many.
"She's so hard working. She's always in the school office with a smile on her face," colleague Shelly O'Sullivan said.
"I call her the Mother Teresa of St Nicholas. She's always there for others."
"She's a beautiful, kind-hearted lady," fellow colleague Kylie Macpherson added.
Robyn's work ethic extends further than her main job.
She also works weekends at Cahills Chemist and when she's not at work, she's making sure she's as fit as a fiddle.
Each day she's on her treadmill and bike racking up the kilometres.
"Only a few years ago she was playing netball in a staff team," Ms O'Sullivan said.
"She has more energy than most of us...she just never ages," Ms McSweeney added.
And being so fit, physically and mentally, the team at St Nicholas knew it would be hard to surprise Robyn but they succeeded.
"Hopefully it made the day extra special when her children weren't able to be with her and shows her how truly admired and loved she is," Ms McSweeney said.
