A TEENAGE girl has suffered lower back and pelvic injuries after she fell from a horse near Walcha.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter crew rushed to the scene at a property in Woolbrook and arrived just before midday on Monday.
Once at the scene, the aircraft doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 17-year-old girl for injuries to her pelvis and lower back.
The rider has been transported to Tamworth Hospital in the Westpac Rescue Helicopter for further treatment.
