Tamworth trainer Cody Morgan will resume his quest to notch his first win since Ligulate's poor showing in the Country Championships Final when racing returns to Muswellbrook on Monday.

Morgan has two runners on the seven-race TAB program. Blazing Tycoon (Tom Sherry) will contest the $20,000 Galloping Media Class 1 Handicap (1280m), while Kiwi Rapid Eagle (Mitchell Bell) will contest the $20,000 TAB.com.au Maiden Handicap (1280m).

The young trainer hopes Ligulate will bounce back strongly from a poor showing in Country Championships Final at Randwick and win this month's $160,000 Tamworth Cup - just as Unbiased did for him last year after failing in the Final.
