Bernie Skelly loves his wife very much, but she is staying at Cottage Homes and he isn't.
But as Oxley Transport develops ways to help the elderly, fragile and isolated in our community, they've found a way for this perfect pair to see each other.
The 91-year-old said seeing him made his wife happy, which in turn made him happy as well.
Seeing her for the first time in a while on Monday morning, Mr Skelly's eyes glistened.
On April 22, they will have been married for 63 years.
"This just helps them be together, and we will be taking him to her on their anniversary for however long he wants to be there," Oxley Community Transport's office manager Bernadette Hargrave said.
"He stated that he loves her very much ... and this just helps them be together.
"My staff are still smiling!"
The drivers were stoked at doing the trip this morning, the girls had big silly grins because they've done something really positive.

Oxley Community Transport brainstormed ideas on how to make their client's lives easier.
She and staff Sharron and Kylie sat down and had a conversation working out how to assist their fragile, elderly and isolated clients.
They are now delivering groceries, chemist orders, or bringing them to their office to help them order online.
"We are still transporting them to their medical appointments, as they have to go to oncology, renal, and general medical appointments," Ms Hargrave said.
"We had to stop shopping buses, individual car transports.
"Whatever we can do to stop isolation, we will do."

They give their clients a call to check in on them to see if they need essentials like bread or milk, or just chat to them making sure they are not alone.
"It's gone over really well, they are very appreciative, grateful, they are very lovely.
"The drivers were stoked at doing the trip this morning, the girls had big silly grins because they've done something really positive."
