COVID-19 has spread across the New England North West, with the first cases detected in Armidale this weekend as two more Tamworth residents tested positive to the virus.

Another 22 cases of coronavirus were confirmed from testing across the Hunter New England Health (HNEH) area, it was revealed on Sunday.
There are now 189 confirmed cases in the HNEH district.
Tamworth continues to top the New England region, with 11 diagnosed cases of the COVID-19 virus.
Two more residents of the city tested positive to the pandemic disease in new statistics released by NSW Health on Sunday.
Armidale has also recorded its first case, with at least one resident diagnosed with the virus.

Liverpool Plains and Glen Innes local government areas also contain at least one case.
Inverell and Tenterfield both have two recorded cases of COVID-19.
Some 19 Inverell residents have been ordered into self-isolation. The residents, who recently returned from a group trip overseas, are being tested for COVID-19 after one of the group tested positive for the virus.
On Sunday, HNEH confirmed two of the 189 COVID-19 patients being treated by doctors had recovered from coronavirus, after they were diagnosed more than two weeks ago.
On Sunday, eight patients were being treated in hospitals across the HNEH network, authorities said, with five listed in intensive care units.
On the weekend, HNEH moved to clarify a recorded case in Narrabri wasn't quite so.
In a statement to the Leader, HNEH said a previous reported case in Narrabri was no longer listed after authorities confirmed the patient, who lives in Sydney, gave an old address. It has since been removed from the official New England figures, which are published daily.
No cases have been reported so far in the Gwyidr, Uralla, Moree, Guyra, Walcha or Gunnedah local government areas.
