VETS CRICKET
Date: April
Tamworth Veterans Cricket has abandoned this year's State of Origin cricket against Queensland. Next year's series will be held in Tamworth at the end of March 2021.
TAMWORTH RSL SUB-BRANCH EVENTS
The Sub-Branch has had to cancel the March committee and general meetings planned for Sunday, March 29 and the social BBQ following the meetings. The committee and general Meetings planned for April 19 have also been cancelled. We also wish to advise that the Sub-Branch office is closed for the foreseeable future. The St Joseph's Primary School Cross Country to be held at Gipps Street has been cancelled.
NUNDLE MUSTANG MUSTER
Date: April 26
The Nundle Mustang Muster planned by the New England Mustang Owners Club for the Nundle Recreation Ground has been cancelled.
CITY OF TAMWORTH EISTEDFODD
The City of Tamworth Eisteddfod was set to be held in June but has been cancelled.
TAMWORTH PARKRUN
The run, which follows a route from the Australian Country Music Foundation Hall of Fame along the CBD levee bank though Bicentennial Park, has been cancelled until further notice. The National Servicemen of Australia Memorial Service on 28 March at the memorial near Tamworth Railway Station has also been cancelled.
MINIATURE RAILWAY
Tamworth and District Model Engineers Inc has made the decision to close the Tamworth Miniature Railway at Victoria Park. The club held its monthly open day and ran the model trains last Sunday (the usual third Sunday of the month). The club will reassess the closure in May.
MOREE SHOW
Date: April 24-25
The Moree Show has been postponed. The committee plans to hold the show on August 14-15 instead.

The Tamworth Regional Council Heritage Working Group has cancelled the Tamworth Regional Heritage Awards event along with the Heritage Festival activities planned.
MAYWORTH
Date: April 30-May 3
Mayworth, the Australian Country Dance Festival, has been postponed.
REALITY IN FLAMES
Date: late June
The exhibition from the Australian War Memorial will not tour to Tamworth as planned.
TAYLOR HENDERSON
The A-Team Tour has been rescheduled to December 12 while Les Diva's: An All Male Revue has been rescheduled to September 11.
TAMWORTH CUP
Date: March 29-April 4
The Tamworth greyhound racing meeting has been moved to June 14-20 after talks between Greyhound Racing NSW and the Tamworth Greyhound Racing Club.
GRAND NATIONAL EVENT

The Independent Miniature Horse Registry Grand National Event which was to be held at the Australian Livestock and Events Centre has been postponed.
MICROCHIPPING DAY
Date: May 21
The free microchipping day for dogs and cats has been cancelled. The day set down for October 29 is still going ahead at this stage.
NAIDOC WEEK
Date: July
Tamworth's NAIDOC Week celebrations, planned for July, have been postponed in line with the National NAIDOC Committee's decision to reschedule later in the year. A new date has not been set. The 2020 NAIDOC Grant Round has been suspended until further notice.
THE SLEEPING BEAUTY
Date: April 4
The Moscow Ballet production of The Sleeping Beauty at Capitol Theatre is cancelled. Ticketholders for shows impacted will be contacted by Entertainment Venues staff in the coming days.

Ian Moss' Matchbook 30th Anniversary Tour has been cancelled including his show at the Tamworth War Memorial Town Hall.
TRAVELLING FILM FESTIVAL

The Sydney Film Festival board and management announced the cancellation of this year's festival, planned for June 14 as well as the Travelling Film Festival Tamworth planned for March 27.
