Jye Paterson is overseeing the best Bective East season since 2015-16, when they reached the preliminary final.
They've done that again, and will meet City United at No 1 Oval this weekend - for the chance to take on reigning premiers Old Boys in the grand final.

Adam Jones was the star for Bective East, scoring 111 of the side's 319 first-innings total. Paterson had won the toss and batted.
Jones then claimed 4-41 as Norths were removed for 194 on Sunday.
Paterson said Jones took his game to "another level". And when that happened, he said, the rest of the team lifted.
"Everyone stood up," he said. "It was easily our best performance of the year."
"Everyone's got a bit of confidence," he added. "Everyone believes that we can probably do it [win the premiership], especially now that we've got the big win against Norths."
In the Bulls' innings, Jones was supported by Ben Merrick (84 not out) and Lachie Barton (60).
Peter Watson (3-61) and Brad Redshaw (3-75) were the Redbacks' best bowlers.
Brendan Rixon (65) and Lincoln Peters (63) top-scored for Norths, while teen quick Kurt Barton took 4-43 for Bective.
