Following health advice from Australia's Chief Medical Officer regarding the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the NRMA has cancelled its Bright Futures Centenary event scheduled for this weekend in Tamworth.
The Health and wellbeing of the Tamworth community is the NRMA's top priority and we did not take the decision to cancel this event lightly.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience, and would like to thank everyone that registered or planned to attend over the course of the weekend.
The NRMA Bright Futures was scheduled to be held at Bicentennial Park in Tamworth's City Centre this Saturday and Sunday.

A jam-packed entertainment roadshow is set to light up Tamworth at the weekend when the NRMA 'Bright Futures' event rolls into town.
The Bright Futures Tour will be set up at Bicentennial Park in Tamworth and run over the weekend on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15.
The NRMA has hit the road with their regional tour focused on art, music and creativity to celebrate the company's 100 year anniversary.

Tamworth is one of six stops on the agenda.
Family-friendly fun will be at the forefront of the event, with a flower field and interactive art for the kids to enjoy and the unique chance to get up close with a koala.
Local artists Ashleigh Dallas, Jarred Taylor and Sally-Anne Whitten will take the stage over the weekend along with Katie Jayne and her band.
A special visit from the 'Grubby Bucket Show' is also on the program.
"We want to bring back the great Aussie road trip, drive tourism to regional areas, help communities that are doing it tough and foster a sustainable future for all Australians," organisers said.

Sustainability and community engagement are emphasised at the event, with patrons encouraged to bring their reusable water bottles and coffee cups.
There will also be a platform at the 'Sun Pavilion' for discussions about driving change and presentations from local community groups.
Members of the public can also use an on-site recording studio and poll to voice their opinions.
Food trucks and coffee vans from local vendors will be taking orders all weekend.
