The Whithams' coronavirus nightmare has come to an end as the couple touched down in Tamworth on Friday.

Eddie and Barbara couldn't be happier to be back at home after over two months away.
Having been away for that long, there was one thing that struck them straight away on their flight back to Tamworth.

"It's amazing. All the way from Sydney, right through to Tamworth was green, green, green," Mr Whitham said.
"We didn't see one drop of rain [in Tamworth]. We left on January 3 and have now come home to something like half a year's rainfall."
"Barb is so pleased her plants are still alive. We thought they'd just die on us."
After the couple get through all their mail and messages, they plan to 'get on with it'.
"We're very happy to be home.
"We're just going to be doing all the things we wanted to do with the multicultural group [Multicultural Tamworth] and catching up with friends and family," Mr Whitham said.
"We also want to tell people to stop this stupidity and use a bit of common sense.
"Keep your hands clean, cover your face when you sneeze and if you're not well, stay home."
While the quarantine periods were draining, Mr Whitham still managed to find some positives.
"The [Diamond] Princess staff were so good, they even flew some people to Darwin to be with us and support us," he said.
He added: "We met lovely people on the boat and in Darwin. When you get people to support each other, it shows how resilient human beings are."
Mr Whitham also said the Diamond Princess staff were about to undertake one of the "biggest cleaning jobs in history" as they scrub the 1500-cabin cruise ship.
