Emergency services were called to Borah Creek just after 1pm on Thursday following reports that a car had rolled on Banoon Road.
Police believe the vehicle rolled multiple times before crashing into a tree.
A 49-year-old man, who was a passenger in the car, died at the scene. The driver was not injured.
Police officers established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
